Impinj

One of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag antenna's essential functions is to harvest energy from a reader to power the tag chip — and do so in all regulatory environments. This sounds simple enough. Of course, there are a myriad of other factors that contribute to a successful RFID experience, but nothing happens until you get power to the tag! And that begins with using the right tag chip.

Key to Impinj's tag chip antenna performance and diversity is the flexibility of its Monza and Monaco tag chips. This enables tags powered by Impinj to be used in a wide range of applications, from item-level to pallet-level. The tags work with any antenna type and feature high receptivity, broadband sensitivity, and high performance. This paper introduces a few of the tag antenna configurations enabled by Monza and Monaco tag chips.
